Big Lottery have now launched Building Better Opportunities, a new funding investment which sees Big Lottery Fund match funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to support projects that tackle the root causes of poverty and promote social inclusion.

You can find out more about the fund, including the application process on Big’s Building Better Opportunities web page. You can find information specific to the Northwest, including Cheshire and Warrington, here.

Following recent partnership development events, we encourage all organisations interested in delivering activity to contact lead organisations directly. The potential leads for Warrington and Cheshire are

Eos Works

Golden Gates Housing Trust

Lift Consortium

Warrington Collegiate

Worker’s Educational Association.

Click the links to contact each organisation directly. Although a few leads have already distributed expression of interest forms, not all lead organisations have the same processes. Please ensure to contact each organisation directly to find out how you get involved.

Don’t forget, the final BBO stakeholder meeting will be held on the 15th June at the Ellesmere Port Civic Hall. This is a final chance to find out more about the fund, and the application process. Any questions you have will be answered on the day by representatives from Big Lottery, the LEP, and the potential leads. Register your place here.
