Third Sector Organisations providing Health, Social Care and Wellbeing services throughout the North West are able to take advantage of Health Education North West’s workforce development funding to aid upskilling your workforce to increase capacity and capability.

Funds are potentially available to you via Invest in Health, as part of this ongoing workforce development project, to support apprenticeships as a development pathway, either to up-skill your existing staff who wish to attain a recognised level 2 or 3 job relevant qualification, or in the recruitment of new staff into the organisation.

Funding subsidies are available for all ages, with additional incentives for 16-23yr olds.

A questionnaire is available to establish demand and capacity throughout our sector’s workforce in the North West. Completion of the questionnaire will also help to identify how your organisation can best utilise these workforce development opportunities.

Your input is needed to gain a clear picture of the training needs of our sector’s workforce and to further develop the project.

One survey respondent, to be randomly selected, will win a Spa Day for two, (courtesy of Lancashire Women’s Centres), at a Spa venue in your locality (for completed questionnaires received before 10th May 2015) so we hope you will be lucky.
