As part of the Pioneer Commissioning Review of mental health and wellbeing there will be a half day service mapping workshop on 13 May at Middlewich Community Church.
The event will include providers from all sectors, with an opportunity to network over lunch and this is a key opportunity for you to be able to influence commissioning. It will build on previous engagement exercises that have been undertaken as part of the development of Clinical Commissioning Group Transformation Plans. The scope of the Pioneer review includes people with mental health problems of all ages, including people with autistic spectrum disorder or ADHD, and people with dementia.
In preparation for the workshop, all teams that work with people with mental health problems should complete an online survey to build a picture of current mental health services within the Pioneer footprint of Cheshire East and Cheshire West & Chester. We need to understand the provision available and how this differs in different geographical areas. Your responses to this survey will produce service maps showing current referral pathways and to identify issues, gaps and any areas of overlap. Your valued local knowledge is needed to make sure that the fullest picture possible is created of what is happening in our community to support people with mental health problems.
Please can you co-ordinate completion of the survey so that all teams/services within your organisation that provide support to people with mental health problems (including people with autistic spectrum disorder or ADHD, and people with dementia) provide details of what they provide and their referral pathways. The survey can be found here:
In order to enable the analysis of results and feedback at the workshop, the closing date for responses is 12 Noon on Friday 1st April 2016
