What is Microvolunteering?

There are a number of different definitions to describe the concept of Microvolunteering but the most generic one that encapsulates its true essence is: ‘bite-sized, on-demand, no commitment actions that benefit a worthy cause’

We are keen to mark this annual day, which this year falls on Wednesday 15th April, but we also want to use this as the date in which to launch Microvolunteering as a new concept, not only to attract new volunteers but for our members to make the most of the time that people have available throughout the year and not just on one day a year.

What Next?

We will be promoting micro-volunteering opportunities via a link on our homepage alongside the regularly updated ‘Latest Opportunities’ for general volunteering roles.

Please get in touch with your ideas and we’ll do the rest by promoting your opportunities

Also, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to call us on 01244 401272.
