Application Deadline: 31 May 2016

ncvo-logoGrants in the form of digital vouchers are available to help charities and voluntary organisations who are NCVO members kick start their new digital strategy.

Funding will be provided in the form of a Digital Voucher which will be determined by the membership category of the NCVO member.

The value of the vouchers will range from £100 to £1,000.

The Technology Funding Initiative has been introduced by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and Class Networks who recognise that with continued austerity, securing funding to support operational costs can be a challenging business for charities and voluntary organisations, particularly in financing Telephony & IT services.

In their January 2016 publication, ‘The Road Ahead’, NCVO highlighted the voluntary sector’s need to play ‘Digital Catch-up’ suggesting that many organisations make do with poor Internet connectivity and an ageing or inefficient IT and communications infrastructure.

To help address this, Class Networks, in partnership with NCVO, have launched a new Technology Funding Initiative aimed at enabling NCVO members to play ‘Digital Catch-up’. Designed to help charities and non-profits kick-start their own digital strategy, funding is provided in the form of a Digital Voucher. The voucher can be redeemed against any of the key services Class Networks provides.

Class Networks has worked with NCVO for 17 years and supports hundreds of charities and voluntary organisations by providing managed communication services that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2016.

Key Criteria: Only NCVO members are eligible to apply

Eligible Expenditure: The funding from Class Networks is designed to improve communication infrastructure and manage on-going ICT costs and is scaled to a charity’s income and size.  The funding, in the form of a Digital Voucher, can be redeemed against Class Networks services (see website for more details  https://classnetworks.com/ncvo-member-technology-grant-campaign//).
