The Cheshire & Warrington Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector /LEP Reference Group is holding further information sessions and workshops to ensure local organisations are well placed to take advantage of the Big Lottery / LEP / European Social Fund (ESF) ‘Building Better Opportunities’ programme across Cheshire and Warrington.
Further to previous updates, we can now announce the following times and venues for the upcoming events:
Monitoring and Auditing: 14th May. The Warrington Business School, 09:30 – 12, am session. 12:30 – 15:00, pm session.
This workshop is to support groups in managing their expectations of monitoring and recording activities. The same workshop will be delivered twice, with the capacity of 40 delegates per session. The Role of the Lead Organisation: 9.30-12.30 15th May.
This workshop is only for those organisations expressing an interest to lead a Building Better Opportunities partnership. Those organisations who have already expressed their interest will receive details on the venue and agenda directly. If you have not yet expressed an interest in being a lead partner and would like to be considered, please email Stef Woof.
Applicants will be requested to prepare a pitch to wider partnership on 19th May for the role of lead agency.
Working in Partnership – Building Better Opportunities: 19th May 10:00 – 16:00. Congleton Town Hall.
This is an event for all organisations to address:
- The role of the partnership
- Due diligence
- Consensus of agreement for lead applicant.
Following the morning workshops, there will be the opportunity to network with colleagues and potential partners.
