Here are more details about the Award Categories for 2017:
Young Volunteer – 25 years and under
For any volunteer aged 25 and under who has demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm to their volunteering role, may have developed in a personal capacity and is keen to learn new skills.
Older Volunteer – 65+
For any volunteer aged 65 and over who has demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm to their volunteering role by sharing their skills, wisdom and knowledge.
Commitment to Volunteering
Any volunteer who has significantly contributed to one or many projects throughout their volunteering journey. The panel will consider a volunteer who has shown long standing passion and dedication to volunteering and who can demonstrate how they have gone the extra mile as a volunteer.
CVA Inspiration Award
For any volunteer who has made an exceptional contribution to volunteering and who inspires others through their actions. Volunteers may have overcome adversity or challenges in their volunteering journey.
This category is open to any business volunteer who has given their time through the CVA SkillShare project. The panel will consider an individual who, through the sharing of their business skills, has demonstrated significant impact to the charity
