Our winner from the Older Volunteer category can be announced today as we continue with Volunteers’ Week.  Congratulations to Olive Minors from Hospice of the Good Shepherd who was voted as winner.

Olive was nominated by volunteer manager, Sue Beckett (below right) who said “Olive exemplifies good citizenship and we should be given special recognition for the time, knowledge and commitment given to the Hospice. Olive has earned the respect of everyone at the Hospice and her neighbours in Mollington.”

1Olive wins a great prize package including vouchers for The Coach House, Gladstone Library and afternoon tea at Blossoms Hotel,  She also won an Elemis beauty set donated by The Grosvenor Hotel as well as personalised artwork from local artist Graffiti Dave.

The runner up was Neville Thompson from DIAL West Cheshire who wins chocolates from Retain Wellbeing CIC and two Total Fitness passes.
