Civil Society looks to strengthen infrastructure in new strategy

We are pleased to see the importance of infrastructure has been recognised in the new Civil Society strategy

The first Civil Society strategy in 15 years addresses the concerns over reduced funding and resources to the type of service we provide and the wider reaching effects on our members and the community.  It also shows that the government will renew its commitment to the principles of the Compact.

The vision of the strategy is to place communities at the centre of decision-making through a new Innovation in Democracy programme.  The strategy also focuses on five key foundations of social value: people, places and the public, private and social sectors.
