CWVA’s inaugural conference, Creating Conversations was held on 26th March 2019 at Chester Racecourse. Feedback received since the event has been fantastic and we are exploring the possibility of making this a yearly event for our thriving third sector in West Cheshire.

Speakers included Tom Lloyd Goodwin from Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES), John Tizard the Chair of NAVCA , Clare Watson  the Single Accountable Officer for the 4 Cheshire CCGs, Ken Perry from Do-Well and Joel Sampson from Resource Marketing 

Delegates also attended 2 workshops chosen from a diverse and stimulating programme. Subjects included Charity Law, Suicide Awareness, Project Planning, Understanding Charity Accounts, Social Prescribing and Keeping Your Data Safe.
