Would you like to advertise volunteering opportunities to students at the University of Chester?
The Volunteering and Mentoring Team at the University of Chester has recently launched a new site for local charities and non-profit organisations to advertise their opportunities to students.
We are looking for more volunteering opportunities for our students across the Chester, Warrington and Shrewsbury areas.
If you would like to advertise opportunities to our students, please visit our volunteering site www.volunteering.chester.ac.uk and sign up as a provider!
Why sign up?
Part of the University’s mission is to “provide all its students and staff with the education, skills, support and motivation to enable them to develop as confident world citizens and successfully to serve and improve the global communities within which they live and work”. Recruiting a student volunteer from the University of Chester means that not only will you be giving students the opportunity to develop a range of skills but you will also be recruiting students who want to serve and improve the community around them.
How do I register?
Firstly visit https://volunteering.chester.ac.uk/. Go to the section for providers and input the details of your organisation. Once this has approved, you will then be able to add your available volunteering opportunities for students to apply to! The Providers page contains a how to guide with further information on the registration process.
How we can help
We can also meet with a representative from your organisation to discuss your volunteering opportunities and how these can be advertised to students. If you would like to arrange a meeting or would like to discuss this further, please contact us using the following details:
